Resilient Communities Lab

Hannah Aronson (she/ella) is a Master's Student in City Planning at the MIT Department of Urban Studies and Planning. She is joining the Resilient Communities Lab most recently from New York City, where she was working at the Department of Homeless Services as a health care access coordinator. Hannah grew up in and around the D.C. area and graduated from Davidson College with a BA in Sociology (just like Steph Curry!) and a minor in Data Science. Since then, she has also been a teacher in Richmond, VA; Nagasaki, Japan; and Chuuk, Federated States of Micronesia. Within the field of urban studies and city planning, her research interests included land use and Indigenous planning, urban climate justice, and housing as a social determinant of health.
