Resilient Communities Lab

Brooke Jin is a second-year graduate student in MIT's Master of City Planning program with an interest in climate policy, environmental planning, and decoloniality. Through their research, Brooke aims to critique green growth and offer alternative frameworks to imagine decarbonized futures, and with a technical background in energy systems and experience working in electric utilities regulation, they are interested in all aspects of the green transition. In a previous life, Brooke was a mechanical engineer in a chemical engineering lab and co-authored papers on molecular discovery and reaction optimization.
